Visit the Miraflores Locks where you will be able to watch the functioning of the Panama Canal from its best spot. Travel around the Amador Causeway, learn how those 4 islands got connected and take a look at the Duty Free. Then, walk the Colonial Panama or Old Quarters, and will the “Paseo Esteban Huertas”, Metropolitan Cathedral, National Theater, the Simon Bolivar Plaza and many other touristic attractions of the colonial period. The tour will finish with the transfer to one of the best malls in Panama City: Albrook Mall (the largest one in Latin America).

The vast jungle area that is now the Gatun Lake was full of wildlife. As the region was flooded, animals took refuge in the mountains that are now islands. You will slowly cruise the back channels, islands and bays that make up this unique system. Exotic birds, capuchin monkeys, sloths, iguanas and crocodiles are just a few of the animals that you will see. The tour finishes with a visit to the Summit Zoo, a little rescue center of native animals, where the harpy eagle is the main character, as it is our national bird.
